Impactful Individual: Herschel Mann Herschel Mann was a passionate leader, mentor and teacher who devoted his 43-year tenure at TexasTech to helping accounting students achieve their dreams. He was highly recognized for his teaching excellence and received countless awards throughout his career, including being selected as a favorite business professor by students. In 2016, in his remembrance and to honor his commitment to the Rawls College community, the School of Accounting established the Herschel Mann Scholarship Endowment, which supports future generations of accounting students in their efforts to become leaders in the profession.
