Research at the University of Pittsburgh builds momentum when teams are working across schools, departments and disciplines. Led by Rachel E. Robertson, associate professor of special education in Pitt’s School of Education, this Pitt Momentum Funds project supports people on the autism spectrum with community-based, accessible yoga and mindfulness classes. Community partner, Open Up, is a Lawrenceville-based nonprofit that provides space and assistive support for class participants.
