The capitals welcomed nearly 50 participants across television, web, print and radio to #CapsMediaCamp today. Participants received a glimpse of what it takes to be a Capitals player through on and off-ice sessions throughout the afternoon. The day concluded with a media game with special guest coaches craig_laughlin18 of monsportsnet and Ken Sabourin of Caps Radio. Following a welcome by Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery, #CapsMediaCamp participants heard from Assistant General Manager Don Fishman. Video Coach Brett Leonhardt presented on his role prior to strength & conditioning coach Zack Leddon leading media through a warmup routine. The capsyouthhockey development staff welcomed #CapsMediaCamp participants to the ice and led them in stations on shooting, stickhandling and more.
