This year, 71 students and 19 leaders are participating in @urbanaction_pc, a community service pre-orientation program that introduces participants to urban issues as well as the Providence community. The students spent three days doing service projects. For example, on Wednesday, they cleaned up litter at Merino Park and painted guardrails along Promenade Street and Kinsley Avenue along with participants in the Transitions Program for multicultural and first-generation students. Urban Action will also assist during Move-In Day on Thursday.
