There are incoming freshmen and then there are guys like Stevie Finnell. While the 2023 class has graduated to a new chapter, reality is the next few 📄pages are a harsh reality for most. Incoming freshmen could be confronted with years of waiting, working and wondering when they will get their shot to play on gameday at the next level. While most wait, few could step in and right up to make a difference at their respective institutions. As the ‘23 class undergoes moving day, the LILJ will be putting together a list of rising freshmen who we think will make an immediate difference. Stevie is a one of a few we’ll be adding to this list. As a program like Duke looks to go from really good to the best in the nation, adding this last minute recruit to the mix might be exactly what they need. Finnell is fit to do it all.
