For workouts that involve multiple exits and returns on the rower, try this technique.
If you watch the double screen, I get two pulls in before the bottom screen even starts to pull. This might not seem big but in a workout with 5 transitions that’s 10 more strokes than the other person; that equals more calories, more meters, and less time than the other person.
Mid-workout I’ve seen people take 20 seconds AND MORE from the time they sit down, mess with the straps, then start rowing. For 3 transitions that would equal an entire minute added to your workout!
It takes practice so if you don’t get it your first try, keep trying until it becomes a habit.
