A number of Auburn Tigers have swapped things up with their helmets for the upcoming season.⁣ ⁣ TE Luke Deal moves from the Vicis Zero1 that he has worn for a few years to the newer Vicis Zero2. LB Robert Woodyard was one of the first Tigers to sport the new Riddell Axiom, but he switched to the Riddell SpeedFlex in the spring. ⁣ OL Jalil Irvin is back to wearing a SpeedFlex after wearing a Vicis Zero1 in previous years. LB Cam Riley is wearing a Schutt F7 now (it's under the Guardian Cap, trust me) after sporting a SpeedFlex the rest of his career. LB Jake Levant replaced his Vicis Zero1 from last year with a SpeedFlex.⁣ While each helmet has its pros and cons, no helmet model is safer than another overall. It really comes down to what helmet fits the player's head the best.
