A record-breaking number of people turned out to celebrate love and acceptance at ukblackpride 2023 – marking the 18th anniversary year of the LGBTQ+ event 🏳️‍🌈 Held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, the all-day celebration aims to symbolise the power of unity of standing stronger together. Speaking exclusively to GettyImages about the vitality of the event, its co-founder Lady Phyll said: “We are black and brown queer people that experience racism, so when we see somebody that looks like us or feels like us, we are connected in ways which are unimaginable.
