Last weekend, the Pebble Beach Company (PBC) enlisted the help of some alumni from SJSU's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tournament Special Event Management Team (SEMT), to assist with the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The SEMT program has been mutually beneficial for all parties involved since its inception in 2005. PBC and Pebble Beach Resorts has access to a great pool of temporary event managers, while students gain valuable hands-on experience in the industry, benefiting both San Jose State University and the Hospitality Tourism and Event Management (HTEM) department.
