For my family, a staple of summers in Kansas City has been going to a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium right after my sister and I finished up our t-ball seasons. We would buy cheap nose-bleed tickets and slowly work our way down in the stands while eating hotdogs in the 98 degree Fahrenheit heat until we were right by the field.
