The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. will open “History Unfolded: U.S. Newspapers and the Holocaust,” a new exhibit and online database, on April 23. The project explores how American newspapers covered Nazi persecution during the 1930s and 1940s, and the Holocaust Museum has partnered with local news outlets and volunteers to collect copies of relevant work. In partnership with the USHMM, the Post-Gazette will be highlighting 20 articles from our archives that ran between March 1933 and April 1945.
