#Repost @digspgh ・・・ Tragedy struck a Munhall block on Dec. 5, 1929, when a faulty gas line exploded along a stretch of Eighth Ave. The blast destroyed most of the local post office and a street car in the wrong place at the wrong time. Six people died, while more than 50 suffered a range of injuries.
