A near-century-old statue of Jesus at Carlow University — with hands restored — was unveiled at Thursday morning at a blessing ceremony. The statue was left without hands over the summer after being vandalized. The Rev. Adam Verona, Carlow's chaplain, officiated. The damage occurred sometime between the end of the spring semester and early July, said Carlow spokesman Drew Wilson. No arrests were made. The hands were never found.
