Lucky dog: Lucky looks up as he leaves the Humane Animal Rescue with his new adoptive family, the Griffiths, on Tuesday in Homewood. After swimming to safety when his owner's SUV plummeted into the Ohio River, Lucky swam to the shores of Brunot Island where John Griffiths worked. After sending his wife a photo of the dog, they decided to adopt it. "We can certainly provide a nice comfy home for him," said Linda Griffiths. Full story on our site.
