Yoko Motoyama of the Pittsburgh Sakura Project performs a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at Duquesne University's Gumberg Library on Tuesday. The demonstration was one of several cultural events the university has scheduled to enhance the experience of the school's Big Read program. The program invites those in the Pittsburgh community to read the novel, "When the Emperor was Divine," which traces the story of a Japanese family sent to a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II.
