It's baaaaack: Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens' "Corpse Flower" began blooming on Wednesday and will bloom for about 12-48 more hours until it closes up again. The flower, named "Romero" after film director George Romero who directed "Night of the Living Dead" -- filmed here in Pittsburgh -- emits a foul odor that some people liken to the smell of rotting flesh. The plant only blooms once every three to seven years.
