Katie Dusch, 30, of Export starts to rappel down 26 stories of the The Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh. The Shatterproof Challenge Rappelling Series was held to draw attention to the national epidemic of drug and alcohol addiction. Ms. Dusch has been clean for 31 months and rappelled in memory of a friend who died from a heroin overdose. Shatterproof is a national organization that aims to protect children from addiction to alcohol or other drugs and ending the stigma and suffering of those affected by the disease.
