Football players have multiple different helmet models to sport during the game. Throughout fall practice, we have been keeping track of which helmet models each player has been wearing.⁣ ⁣ Six different helmet models are being worn by the Auburn football team, with one clearly being the preferred style.⁣ *Note: With Auburn utilizing the guardian caps in practice this year, and the lack of open practice like last year, the total number of tracked player helmets is down this year compared to last year. We were able to track 100 players, with 20 roster members still unaccounted for at this point. ⁣ No one helmet model is safer than another. It really comes down to what helmet fits the player's head the best.
