On the road again.
The Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft for the
#Artemis I mission around the Moon and back arrived at Launch Pad 39B around 8:30 a.m. EDT on Nov. 4, 2022.
The rocket traveled atop the mobile launcher and Crawler Transporter-2 during the approximately 4-mile (6-kilometer) journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the launch pad at NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida. The journey took nearly nine hours.
Launch is currently targeted for Nov. 14 at the opening of a 69-minute launch window starting at 12:07 a.m. EST (0505 UTC).
