The 2023 football season will kick off with two straight weeks of Auburn facing opponents for the first time ever.
With the Tigers hosting UMass this week and traveling to Cal next week, that will leave 40 of the current 133 FBS-level teams yet to be faced.
Auburn has been able to cross off teams from this list in recent years: Liberty, Purdue, and Washington in 2018 (and Alabama State; though they're FCS), Kent State and Minnesota in 2019; and Georgia State in 2021.
Of the remaining teams, Auburn has scheduled meetings with a handful of them. New Mexico (2024), South Alabama (2025), and UCLA (2027) all are currently scheduled, though conference realignment may impact some of these matchups.
Which of these 42 never-before-faced opponents do you want to see Auburn matchup against next? We're dying to see Notre Dame crossed off the list!
