Joe Beaver entered his first PRCA Rodeo as a twenty-year-old in 1985. Beaver was a true all-around cowboy, competing in the Calf Roping, Team Roping and Steer Roping. Within his first year in the PRCA, not only did he win the World title in the Calf Roping, but he won the Resistol Rookie of the Year title in the Calf Roping and All-Around. Throughout Beaver’s career, he won a total of 3 World Champion All-Around titles and 5 World Champion Calf Roping titles.
