Cancer patients at Penn Presbyterian (PPMC) now have access to free food through Ujamaa Café, a new #communityfridge program. The project aims to help combat #foodinsecurity and provide a convenient option for patients to grab healthy, prepared foods. “Whether they’re tired after treatment, don’t have access to healthy food, or are just busy, we hope this helps take a bit of work off the patient,” said Amy Schwartz, director of PPMC Cancer Service Line Operations.
