Of all the experiences to be had on the Seventh Continent, guests are often rendered speechless when visiting the iconic Emperor penguins. After a 2.5 hour Basler flight which will see them soaring above endless ice fields and wild coastlines, our guests land at the world famous Atka Bay colony - home to 28, 000 Emperor penguins. Under the supervision of our guides, guests will slowly approach the colony and bear witness to one of the planets most rarely viewed wildlife events. Here, both adult Emperors and their chicks can be respectfully viewed (never closer than 5meters / 16.4ft).
