What better way to celebrate
#InternationalWhaleSharkDay than an underwater party with your closest remora and cobia pals? This bespeckled giant was spotted cruising along the coast of Florida with a whole party in tow.
Stretching up to 45 feet or more in length, whale sharks — which are indeed sharks, not whales — are the world’s largest fish species. But don’t let that scare you. These gentle giants are filter feeders and mainly munch on plankton, krill, fish eggs, and small fish.
