NEW STAFF ADDITION! Welcome Maddie Young to the WCAS family! maddiee_young is from Joliet, IL, where she trained in all styles of dance starting at age 3 and began competing starting at age 5. She also participated in middle school dance team and the Joliet West High School dance team, competing in the Illinois Dance Team Association (IDTA) and Illinois High School Association (IHSA) state competitions. Maddie is currently a sophomore at Lindenwood University studying Therapeutic Recreation and Dance, and she's a second year member on lulionlinedance. Last year she had the amazing experience of competing at UDA College Nationals and winning the 2023 National Championship in Open Hip Hop. After being one of our most respected substitute barre instructors ever - she's a consummate ballet technician and laser focused on proper technique - we're happy to bring Maddie on board to teach Intermediate Barre and Aerials classes.
