The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic - from the sky! 🎈 This morning I checked off a bucketlist item with a hot air balloon ride at the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, courtesy of capedcu The experience was full of breathtaking views of the Boise area, a water skip on an Esther Simplot Park pond, and a champagne toast with the flight crew once we returned to the ground. 🥂 We rode on the “Blue” balloon (official name “Orange” - yeah, you read that right), piloted by Mike Stone and the crew from blueskiesballoon which were absolutely fantastic to us. I learned so much about the art of ballooning and its history. Big thanks to capedcu and blueskiesballoon for the opportunity, as well as asiaalora for setting it up and tagging along! This hopefully wasn’t a once in a lifetime experience, but it’s something I’ll defintely remember. The spiritofboise runs through the weekend.
