I missed my ride by 5 minutes but got lucky with a bus that departed 5 blocks from where I was. Fast forward 5 hours later and I found myself at rosewoodwashingtondc 💫 Only a few years ago, the thought of eating alone never really crossed my mind, but it’s something that I take total pride in these days. It feels awkward and embarrassing at first but you later realize that the only person who really cares about you dining alone is you. During my short solo trip to DC, I got the best seat in the house overlooking the fireworks on 4th of July.
