If I could pick one game from my college football career to go back and just re-live, it’d be this one.
I almost picked the Penn State-Wisconsin game from 2013.
Christian Hackenberg and I had a 68-yard touchdown.
I also almost picked a game at UMass.
We played South Carolina in 2016. Everybody knew the ball was going to me, and I was still able to put up 9 grabs and two touchdowns against an SEC defense.
That was probably the most confident I’d ever felt in my own game.
But if I could re-live one Saturday, it’d have to be one where I had zero catches. I actually barely played.
On that Saturday in 2013, every Penn State fan was wearing white under the lights for a prime-time home game.
It was my first White Out.
It was the loudest I’ve heard Beaver Stadium, and I was on the field.
We went to four overtimes with a top 25 ranked Michigan in one of the greatest Nittany Lions games ever, and came away with a win.
That’s college football at its best.
