Quick tip from preventing plateau . Over time your body can adapt to how you train . The trick is to stay uncomfortable. Instead of just focusing on weights , reps and sets you should incorporate other components that will help you stimulate hypertrophy
Components
1. Range of motion - it’s important to have a solid range of motion . The better the movement the more you’ll get out of the exercise
2. Tiempo (Time Under Tension) - Everything doesn’t have to be full speed . Slow down . The more you slow down the more your muscles are under contraction (tension) promoting muscle growth.
3. Modification - I know some of y’all love doing the same thing . We gotta switch it up and incorporate more . For example, You love barbell bench now bench with dumbbells. Alternate your presses. Work harder not longer.
