Athlete Highlight... David Tupola Toese is a Senior Wrestling athlete from Independence, Missouri, majoring in Health and Movement Science with a Physical Education and Coaching Endorsement. The Toese family has a rich history in the Community of Christ Church and Graceland University. After attending Spectacular for three consecutive years and observing the wrestling team's culture, Graceland just felt like "the environment I needed to become the best version of myself." The brotherhood that the wrestling team has created is important to Toese. The group unites through adversity and exhibits collective core values and standards that hold each other accountable, and this continues to help David grow as a person and athlete. David's primary goal this season is to take the next step in his final season from a National Qualifier to an All-American.
