Athlete Highlight... Ries Wilson is a Senior Softball athlete from Colfax, Iowa, majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Ries decided to come to Graceland because of the welcoming environment. When speaking about her initial impression, she stated, "From the first time I visited Graceland's campus, I knew I would be calling this place home for the next couple of years." Something that Ries values about her team are the long-lasting relationships that she has developed. The laughs they have shared and the memories they have made will be in her heart forever. One of Ries's season goals is to focus on leaving a positive legacy on her team. It is important to her to "leave a positive, lasting impression of myself on and off the field." She wants to make the most of every second and leave with no regrets. Post-graduation, Ries plans to get her master's in counseling, then work towards getting a job with the Child Advocacy Center.
