Athlete Highlight... Rachel Alderson is a Senior Dance athlete from Oskaloosa, Iowa, majoring in Criminal Justice and Hispanic Studies. Rachel came to Graceland because of the opportunity that it provided her "to explore all of her interests". She appreciated the ability to be involved in multiple activities. The support system that the team provides Rachel is very valuable to her; she states, "We are all so close and hang out constantly". She also believes that they all "push me to be the best athlete and person I can be". Alderson's primary goal this season is focused on team growth. The team is going to the Dance Team Union Nationals for the first time in school history, and she wants the team to not only be ready but also to "immerse ourselves in a new experience". After graduation, Rachel plans to attend Law school at Drake University and then go into Constitutional Law.
