Athlete Highlight... Sydnee McKinney is a Senior Softball athlete from Knoxville, Iowa, majoring in Sport Management. Sydnee is a transfer student from Southwestern Community College. When deciding to transfer to Graceland last year, a huge factor in her decision was "the small campus feel". She also said, "the professors were all excited to get to know me before I arrived, "which stood out to McKinney. The closeness of the team is something that Sydnee really appreciates. She finds value in the relationships that her teammates have established both on and off the field. In her own words, Sydney states, "I have made friendships on the softball team that will last throughout my life." Sydney's primary goal for this season is to "have fun." Given that this is her final year, she wants to enjoy it. Post graduation, Sydnee has aspirations of pursuing a career in the Sport Industry.
