Minor tweaks can have big effects. After debuting the first captaincy patches in program history last year, the Auburn Tigers have a new look to these patches. Last year's design was similar to the NFL captain's patches, featuring a navy blue C on an orange rounded square. The new patch is simply a tall, block "C" sewn directly onto the jersey. The C is the same letter that is used in the player nameplates on the back of the jersey.
