Athlete Highlight... Allison Cook is a Junior Cheer athlete from Topeka, Kansas, majoring in Nursing. One of Allison's reasons for coming to Graceland was her ability to join the cheer team. When talking about her team, she stated, "In cheer, we've created a family-like setting. We all support each other and have each other's backs." This positive, judgment-free atmosphere is something that Allison values. When discussing goals for this upcoming season, Allison expressed it was important to "create a strong bond with everyone on the team". Given that she is a nursing student, this is her last semester on the Lamoni campus, and she is striving to make it a fun final semester. After graduation, Allison plans to go into either pediatric or labor and delivery, working in a hospital.
