Summer ‘22 marked the turning point in my fitness journey when I embraced running as my “sport.” 🌞 Initially, it was tough to admit because I’d never been a “runner.”
My comfort zone was always in the weight room. I lacked a running background and wasn’t naturally gifted in sports.
But let me tell you, I despised running at first. It felt uncomfortable, my legs protested, the breathing was brutal, and early mornings were never my jam.
⏭️ Fast forward 1.25 years, and I’m a transformed individual.
Running has single-handedly reshaped my life.
It’s a relentless daily discipline, and the pavement (or track) can be quite humbling.
To succeed in this sport, you must consider everything: training, nutrition, recovery, and mindset.
Running has introduced me to incredible people and communities. Sharing miles on the road is everything I crave.
It’s my escape, my strength, my discipline, and it’s carried me through life’s challenges in recent years.
