Welcome to QBSN Flashback Fridays! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing quotes from our members about various experiences that they were able to take part in throughout the 2021-2022 academic year. These experiences are a big part of what QBSN is about, and members both new and returning will have them to look forward to when we return to campus in the fall. Today, we’re taking a look back at The Battle of Whitney Avenue of 2022, the first home game between QU men’s hockey and Yale since early 2020. “One of the main reasons that I chose QU was because of the huge culture surrounding the hockey games, especially the rivalry with Yale. Getting to attend my first Battle of Whitney Avenue through QBSN was an amazing opportunity and I am so thankful to them for sending me! The energy in the PUC that night was insane and showed me why I love the experience of live sports so much.
