I know I look like I just sold your house in this photo. It’s giving real estate agent, but I’m actually just so happy. Here’s why: Last week I received the DVF Leadership Award, among 4 other amazing women in Venice, Italy. Aside from this being a massive honor, the award also includes a grant to UnicornIsland Fund, my charity that is on a mission to end gender inequality. And these resources are going to go so far in helping our work and mission. To get really honest, here’s why I’m emotional. For the past 10 years of my life, I’ve known I wanted to be of service in this fight. I’ve had and continue to have such a deep desire to make the world a more just place for girls and women. But it’s been confusing, complex and difficult to understand how exactly to tackle this issue in a way that actually helps and makes sense.
