Danelo Cavalcante, the inmate who escaped from a suburban Philadelphia prison last week, “crab-walked” up a wall and through razor wire in order to break out, officials said Wednesday. The prison’s acting warden said a guard who was in the observation tower at the time has since been placed on administrative leave. Law enforcement media consultant and former U.S. Marshal Art Roderick said authorities “have a lot of work to do internally” at the facility following the escape.
