Upon arrival in Holbox, Mexico….. Let me just get into how you get there. Fly into Cancun and then catch a 2- hour shuttle or taxi to Chiquita. From there, take the 30 minute ferry to Isla Holbox and catch a gold cart taxi to your hotel. Our first hotel was nomadeholbox and this place it super zen. We booked the luxury tent but they also have tree houses. It’s more of a wellness hotel with beach access and a beach club if you just want to visit. The island is reminiscent of the Caribbean so bring big repellant. There are also no cars on the island. It’s safe and easy to move around!
