alrighty friends, prepare yourself for a long one. currently, i am on a bus with a mask on my face driving back to good ole clemson where my cozy hotel room, which is posing as my temporary home, will be waiting. life is so crazy and 2020 has presented us with trials we could have only dreamt of, but not only on a world level. individually, 2020 has been a year of hardship, and because of this hardship, it’s been a year of growth. moving away from home has been so much harder than i ever expected it would be. it has challenged me in countless ways, but i can confidently say that i have seen so much improvement in myself. there would have been a day i would have shut down and pushed everyone out, but instead, i faced this challenge head on. in doing this, my perspective on life had change immensely. i may be a division one student athlete, but more importantly, i am a daughter of a King.
