I rely SOLELY on my ring light when taking my photos. These two photos were taken in the same spot in portrait mode on my iPhone 14pro. The first is an up angle with the ring like facing away from the shot. The second is head on with the ring light facing toward the shot. Is that surprising to you? It was to me at first. I found redirecting the light yields a more “natural light” vibe where head on throws a warmer cast over the photo. . . How do you all take your photos?
