@uvafootball kicked off its 2022 season at Scott Stadium Saturday afternoon, defeating Richmond 34-17 in Coach Tony Elliot’s coaching debut. After the Spiders scored the initial touchdown, the Cavaliers responded, taking and holding onto the lead for the rest of the game despite a mixed performance.
