Hurricane Lee will continue to churn north of the Caribbean islands and then turn north, impacting portions of the northeastern United States and Atlantic Canada this weekend. As the hurricane moves west-northwest, the storm is expected to begin to slow down and intensify early this week and begin to take more of a northerly turn around midweek. Due to the slow movement and the expansive size of the storm, large swells will impact the Bahamas and most of the Atlantic coast across the southeastern United States early this week. As the week progresses, the entire East Coast, Bermuda and Atlantic Canada will feel these effects.
