On Monday morning, a truck carrying paint spilled at the Staples Mill Road and Waller Road intersection, prompting a 911 call to Henrico Police. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, the spillage caused water-soluble paint to cover several vehicles and a large section of the roadway along Staples Mill Road. The driver responsible for hauling the paint has been charged with failure to secure the load, and immediate action is being taken to clean up the situation with the assistance of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
