I think people assume that I just take photos and swipe through Instagram all day 🤷🏻‍♀️ When you hire a social media manager, about 15% of their work is the actual content creation and audience engagement. The rest is strategy, planning, asset organization, editing, proofing, hunting down approvals, editing more, scheduling, hashtag research, inputting content metadata, managing the calendar, scheduling client meetings, making sure it posted correctly, editing again when a client needs a change to a post that’s already approved and asking yourself why it took so long to create and schedule 15 posts because it really “shouldn’t” be a big deal.
