This one hurt. Not at all how I wanted the finals to go. I came into the meet knowing I had a real shot to win or at least come away with a medal. To walk away empty-handed after a PB in the semi-final is one of the most painful things I’ve experienced in this sport. I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed. That being said, I’m beyond thankful and grateful that I had the opportunity to represent my country, my family, and glorify God on the biggest stage these past 5 days. God’s Timing is always perfect, and as much as this hurts, I know we have bigger things in store. I still have 3 meets left to cap off this rookie year, and I plan to end the season on my terms
