Week 2 of college football was awesome. But this upset really stood out to me 🔥 For the first time since 2013, Rice defeated a Power 5 opponent after taking down crosstown rival Houston. JT Daniels tossed for 400 Yards and 3 TDs in an epic 43-41 W over Houston double OT. Daniels is definitely a name you should be familiar with. He’s the former #1 QB in the country was at USC, Georgia, and West Virginia before landing at Rice. Rice led by as much as 28-0 in the game before nearly escaping with the Win.
