Here’s our review for BK Halal Grill (_bkhalalgrill)! They’re a fairly new completely halal establishment on the corner of a bustling Crown Heights block. Chicken is machine-slaughtered. Food: 9/10 Their menu features a heavy focus on soul food, Caribbean food, American fast-food, and a flare of Middle Eastern and Mexican. We tried to get a variety of items such as the jerk chicken alfredo pasta quesadilla, the oxtail, shrimp mac and cheese, candied yams, jerk lamb over fries with mac and cheese, shredded oxtail mac and cheese empanada, and shredded jerk chicken mac and cheese empanada. The quesadilla was delicious - a really rich, savory, tangy, creamy, flavorful bite. The oxtail was divine, succulent and seasoned appropriately. The sides of the shrimp mac and cheese and candied yams were beautifully made. The food here is so good it just knocks you out lol. Wanted to come home and take a long nap.
