Hey Foodies! What are we complaining about today? We’re complaining about the fact that there is no authentic, halal Western Chinese place in the boroughs! Yi Lan Halal Restaurant used to be the only option but they closed down about three years ago 😞 Maybe, just maybe, if some Muslim foodies who are really into business and entrepreneurship see this post and see the unwavering need from the Muslim community for these types of restaurants, we’d see them open them up in the future? #wishfulthinking No, but seriously, Yi Lan had amazing food. It was a sit down restaurant with lazy Susan tables. Total family style restaurant. This braised beef noodle soup was bussin. It wasn’t until I was scrolling through the endless feed of our posts early this morning to find myself drooling at this particular photo. Whoever agrees, say I! ⬇️
